Period correct triumph chopper.
Former owner had the bike for atleast 25 years (NJ title from 1996) and did a beautiful job on restoration.
Features to note:
-Springer front end -Plunger frame (Amen Savior?) from the period -Octagonal Oil Tank -Capacitor in lieu of Battery -RH controls -Chopped pipes for an absolute thundering sound During my ownership had bike gone thru by master British car
bike mechanic (2021):
-R+R Carb and Rebuild (Amal) kit -2 new NGK sparkplugs -Cleaned and adjusted all points / timing -Adjusted Valves -Fluid check and top up gear oil -Adjusted Primary Chain -General Nut & Bolt check over -Road tested and carb adjustment Not a project bike or anything of the sort.
Bike needs nothing and is ready to go; thing is sellable just as art.
I've enjoyed the bike the last two seasons.
